NAME: Mel
CONTACT: [plurk.com profile] maiiau; PM
ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: EST/EDT, tending toward evening and night tagging. I try to tag quickly, but I don't mind if you need some time! Even if I tag you back right away, don't feel obligated to match my pace.
BRACKETS/PROSE: either, though I default to brackets
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Warn for eye gore and animal abuse, avoid eyeball damage, especially piercing damage. Eye socket damage is fine--it's specifically damage to the eyeballs that bothers me.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: You can try, but 99% of the time Eito will not like it.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Eito is familiar with combat. He's pretty strong normally, and he also has basically a combat form he can transform into where he gets a giant scythe and lightning powers. He has a real talent for murder and violence, he's great at strategy, and he doesn't hesitate. Feel free to fight him! I'd like to talk things out OOC before you kill him, though, just to know ahead of time how things will go down. When he has access to his powers, it is not possible to kill Eito via piercing his heart--this will just activate his abilities.
RELATIONSHIPS: If you want to try for one, that's fine with me, but making it happen is going to be difficult. If your character is human/very human-like and not a canonmate, it might be near-impossible. But we can always see what happens! And it's fine for a character to develop a crush on him.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Eito's cognitive disorder (see medical information) may impact this, but Eito doesn't really have any noted resistances to this sort of thing. Let me know and I'll include more thoughts. If your character can sense powers, you may want to reference Eito’s power section to see what his hemoanima can do. He has half of another soul inside him.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: If your character can sense powers, you may want to reference Eito’s power section to see what his hemoanima can do. He has half of another soul inside him. Technically none of this is magic within his canon, but if your canon would classify it as magic for any sort of magic-sensing ability that’s completely fair.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Eito has a cognitive disorder which makes him see humans and humanoids as horrifying monsters a la Saya no Uta. This impacts all his senses. If the person becomes or is something non-humanoid, though--even if they can still maintain some sort of human form--Eito will be able to see them as they present, be that monster or human. For the sake of cross-canon interaction, I'm including things like classic elves and dwarves as human enough to activate his cognitive defect. For characters with human disguises, if their true form is inhuman enough he'll be able to see their human disguise, which ironically does mean he can use this cognitive disability to identify nonhumans in human disguises by virtue of them looking human to him. Characters who are humanized on arrival will fall under Eito's cognitive disorder for as long as they're humanized. Eito sees himself as human in the mirror, and would see any other Eitos as human as well.

Generally, I’ll be fine deciding on my own how Eito sees people, but if you have a complicated character situation/any preferences or notes you want me to know, you can absolutely let me know here or somewhere else. Very generally speaking, I want to make it so that Eito still sees most people as monsters.

...Also. This is a very small thing, but Eito wears the wrong prescription glasses on purpose.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Eito is a manipulative, violent liar. How he acts in his threads is not how he actually is. He’s a gaslight gatekeep girlboss king. He does not like humans, thinking of them as monsters figuratively as well as literally. Due to his canonpoint, his own canonmates are something of an exception, but only them. This does mean he may hold back a little in the name of not having to explain a murder spree to Takumi if he ever shows up, but it’s going to be easy for him to find excuses. That said, he is not going to go around murdering people at random (not counting events, of course), because he is out of his element here and willing to put his kill all humans urges on the backburner in favor of getting out of here. Still, he’s not a good person, he will attempt to play the people around him to his advantage, and I fully understand if you don’t want to deal with that. Just let me know! Eito's issues may invoke elements of OCD, body dysmorphia, medical horror, and emetophobia. Additionally, Eito was involuntarily institutionalized in the past; he simply refers to it as being in the hospital, and does not want to talk about it, but it could come up.

If your character is nonhuman, Eito will be more friendly to your character and more reluctant to hurt them. This doesn’t mean he won’t, but he doesn’t have to fight the “hatred born out of fear” instincts he has toward humanity. If your character actually looks human to him (if your character has a nonhuman main form but a human disguise being the most common situation for this), he is going to be even more reluctant to hurt your character, because Eito is a very lonely hypocrite. Manipulation is still on the table, though.

OUT OF CHARACTER

BACKTAGGING: Yes, although if it gets very old or seems to have drifted into that loop of small talk, I may drop it. I'm always willing to summarize anything that happened if needed!
THREADHOPPING: Yes
FOURTHWALLING: Yes generally speaking, but I'd rather not have people having played his entire canon or anything like that
NOT INTERESTED IN:

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Normal visual. Class armor visual. Eito favors being as covered up as possible. Assume he's always wearing gloves unless otherwise noted. It's like he's trying to get as close to wearing a hazmat suit as he can without actually wearing a hazmat suit. Even lacking his specific, favorite puffy coat, he will find something to do a similar job in the meantime.
AURAL: Reference his Japanese voice. Usually he's pretty softspoken and upbeat, unless otherwise noted.
OLFACTORY: Neutral to pleasant, usually. He likes keeping clean.
DEMEANOUR: Upbeat and focused on teamwork and friendship to the point of being cringey, but also capable of pointed, intelligent observations. Often comes across as awkward.
