Hope: Being useful to Takumi and the rest of the Special Defense Unit (but mostly Takumi) in their rebellion against humanity, and therefore being worthy of the trust Takumi placed in him even when Eito is sure he doesn't actually deserve it.
Regret: Eito's biggest regret is that, because all of his memories before waking up in Last Defense Academy are fake, he spent his life up until finding that out manipulated by glitchy memories implanted by humanity.
Best Memory: Takumi and the others deciding to rebel against humanity after discovering that it was humanity that was invading rather than the other way around, which led to Eito returning to the team, working with them, and developing some (extremely confusing, difficult to acknowledge, reluctant) affection for the group and especially Takumi. (He was already kind of obsessed with Takumi though.)
Worst Memory: His entire childhood consisting of being able to only see himself as human and seeing everyone else as horrifying monsters. This is even more true now that he knows all of those memories were fake and his entire cognitive disorder was a mistake in his creation.

Powers: First, not exactly a power but the most important thing to put here: Eito has a cognitive disorder which makes him see humans and humanoids as horrifying monsters a la Saya no Uta. This impacts all his senses. If the person becomes or is something non-humanoid, though--even if they can still maintain some sort of human form--Eito will be able to see them as they present, be that monster or human. For the sake of cross-canon interaction, I'm including things like classic elves and dwarves as human enough to activate his cognitive defect. For characters with human disguises, if their true form is inhuman enough he'll be able to see their human disguise, which ironically does mean he can use this cognitive disability to identify nonhumans in human disguises by virtue of them looking human to him. Characters who are humanized on arrival will fall under Eito's cognitive disorder for as long as they're humanized. Eito sees himself as human in the mirror, and would see any other Eitos as human as well.

Futuran: Eito is not actually human, but an extremely similar species from the planet Futurum. He and the rest of the Last Defense Academy students are gene-remixed semi-clones of a very powerful infant the humans stole to experiment on and create biological weapons to use in their centuries-long attempt to conquer Futurum. This leads to the rest of his abilities.

Hemoanima/cryptoglobin: Hemoanima is the more casual name, cryptoglobin is the more scientific name. A special element of his blood activated by stabbing the heart. Usually a specific weapon called an infuser is used for this, but anything sharp enough to pierce the heart will do the job. Upon activation, the user is swallowed by a cocoon of blood and transforms into a slightly different form, complete with a weapon that fits their personality. Eito's looks like this. All hemoanima users have a black uniform, known as their class armor, red markings on their face, and a white flickering flame where their heart is. This form can be dismissed with a thought. Eito's weapon is a scythe larger than he is. Fun fact: it has a ladybug on it, representing his luck motif.

Eito is capable of using his scythe for sweeping attacks (Judge), extra powerful up close attacks (Executioner), and to combine this with lightning to strike a wide area around him (Jury). Under specific circumstances--when his hemoanima is in high tempo (voltage) with the rest of the SDU or when Eito is near death--he is capable of using all his remaining hemoanima at once to do a lot of damage to a large area by throwing his scythe and making it turn into a huge cyclone of very sharp blood (Righteous Punishment). When using it via the rest of his team, this stuns him for a period of time; when using it near death, this will kill him. You can see his in-game stats here.

Every hemoanima user has a Specialist Skill that fits their personality in some way. Eito's is Special Fortunetelling, which passively gives him random buffs as he acts in battle.

It's possible to absorb another person's hemoanima, if they have it, via stabbing the other person with an infuser or a hemoanima weapon. This boosts the absorber's hemoanima, making them more powerful. It may have other lingering effects (fragments of peronality or intent absorbed, if the person who was absorbed is strong enough in some nebulous way), but not usually. In canon, this would also make the person absorbed incapable of being brought back to life, but here the soul capsule would prevent complete hemoanima absorption and thus prevent a permanent death in this way.

Shion's hemoanima: Eito absorbed half the hemoanima of Shion, the extremely powerful infant mentioned earlier. This gives him a general pretty large increase in power. It also makes his lightning more purple than it used to be, which doesn't actually do anything but is neat. Because Shion was so powerful, some of his feelings of friendship toward the SDU linger in Eito, making Eito more inclined to like the rest of the SDU.

Arrival Choice: Accept; Eito gives up one of his eyes
Soul Weirdness?: Not exactly his soul but his hemoanima--hemoanima can also be used to revive Eito indefinitely, provided he doesn't lose too much of it via blood loss and the technology is available. Probably not something that will come up very often or maybe at all but noteworthy. Absorbing half of Shion's hemoanima has made it all more powerful and left some lingering parts of Shion's soul in him as well.
How Do You Wanna Do This?: Mostly this will act the same as a regular capsule but Eito's soul capsule should be hot to the touch--not quite "gives you a burn" but almost there. If it could be constantly dripping blood that would also be awesome. This is just because I think that's extremely unsettling.
